Application Filing Period

Priority Filing Period
September 1 =E2=80=93 November 1, 2009
To apply during the Priority Filing Period, a complete application =

supporting documents (application fee, transcripts, and test scores) =

postmarked or received by November 2, 2009. Completing the application =
during=20
the Priority Filing Period may give you an advantage when space is =
limited.
Applications will be designated as received during the Priority =
Filing Period=20
once the entire application file has been completed and processed. =
Please allow=20
1-2 weeks for processing time. After that time, the Admission Type =
listed on=20
your Check Application Status website will change from Regular Admission =
to=20
Priority Admission.
As an applicant, it is your responsibility to know the application=20
requirements and to submit the necessary materials. Also, it is =
important to=20
note that if you apply or submit supporting materials right at the =
application=20
deadline, you are at risk to receive a later admission decision, =
especially if=20
you have international credentials since they require additional =
processing.
Admission Notification
There are two admissions notification dates: December 11,=20
2009 and February 19, 2010.
If you apply during the Priority Filing Period, you can view your =
admission=20
status online on December 11, 2009. Please note that the online decision =
is not=20
final until you receive official notification of our decision through =
postal=20
mail. In some cases an application decision will be deferred, and a =
final=20
admission decision will not be sent until the second notification date =
of=20
February 19. Should this be the case, there is no need for you to submit =
a=20
program change request, as you are still being reviewed for your =
requested=20
program. If your application becomes complete after November 1, or you =
are=20
deferred on December 11, you will be notified of a decision on February =
19.
- Students applying to Art Foundation, Theatre Foundation, =
and=20
Dance: The final notification date will be March 15, =
2010.
- Students applying to Music: Priority filing does =
not=20
apply to music applicants. You will be notified by March 15,=20
2010.
