International Admissions
Wake Forest University values diversity within the student body =
and is=20
committed to enrolling students from around the world. With a =
small=20
undergraduate student population and a dedicated faculty committed =
to=20
teaching and research, Wake Forest offers an intimate and pleasant =
environment in which to live and learn. The special needs of our=20
international students are served with expertise and passion by =
the=20
faculty and staff of our Center =
for=20
International Studies. From the moment you apply to the time =
you first=20
step foot on campus, we are committed to making your Wake Forest=20
experience extraordinary.
Applicants under Wake Forest's Regular Decision plan must =
submit the=20
application by January 15.
International applicants may also apply Early=20
Decision. Early Decision applications and all other required =
materials=20
must be submitted by November 15 in order to be considered under =
this=20
binding admissions option.
International students are eligible for most Wake=
=20
Forest Merit-Based Scholarship Programs. Substantial =
scholarships have=20
been awarded to many international applicants. A separate =
application is=20
not required. Scholarships are awarded to international applicants =
based=20
on the admissions application. International applicants who wish =
to be=20
considered for merit-based scholarships must submit all of the =
application=20
materials by January 1. Both the admission and scholarship =
processes are=20
highly competitive and many qualified applicants will not be =
offered=20
financial awards. Regrettably, there is no need-based financial =
aid=20
available for international students.
Admitted international applicants who pay the admission deposit =
will be=20
issued an I-20 form. Upon receipt of the I-20, the student may =
apply for=20
an F-1 visa for study at Wake Forest University. The Center for International =
Studies will=20
assist you throughout the matriculation process.
