International freshmen are admitted Fall, Winter, and Spring = quarters, and=20 international transfer students are admitted all quarters. Application = deadlines=20 are available on the international=20 freshman and international=20 transfer advising pages.
What is the TOEFL and IELTS requirement to fulfill the = English=20 proficiency requirement?
Applicants can submit official TOEFL or IELTS scores to fulfill the = English=20 proficiency requirement. UW Bothell requires a minimum TOEFL score = of 70=20 (not including the speaking section) on the internet based exam or 237 = on the=20 computerized version. The UW Bothell institution code for the = TOEFL test=20 is 9964.
The minimum IELTS score is 7.
Alternative options for fulfilling the English proficiency = requirement are=20 available for freshman=20 and transfer=20 undergraduates.
Why do I need to submit bank statements at the time of=20 application?
If you have an F-1 student visa and have been accepted to UW Bothell = as a=20 freshman or a transfer student, you must obtain a new I-20 form = from=20 International Student Services (ISS). In order for ISS to process and = create=20 this document, you will need to submit copies of bank or financial = statements=20 verifying that you have sufficient funds to attend the University. You = must=20 prove that you are able to finance your education to include tuition, = fees,=20 living expenses, insurance, and books. International students are not = eligible=20 for financial aid. Please know that we request this information not only = to=20 process your I-20 but to ensure that you are aware of the expenses = associated=20 with attending UW Bothell and that you are able to fund your education = prior to=20 arriving in the United States.
